Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-70D-CLG-S is a direct bolt-in instrument upgrade for 1970-74 Dodge Challenger and Plymouth 'Cuda models equipped with the Rallye dash. Designed to use the stock front bezel, this system brings modern electronics and readability to the factory gauge location while retaining the correct vintage appearance with a silver alloy gauge-face styling.
The HDX system features six analog instruments plus a clock, accented by two large, full-color TFT message centers that provide extensive driver information and performance data. Turn signals and brake indicators are illuminated by LEDs, and the user can independently select illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers to suit personal preference.
Calibration and personalization are handled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is finished in black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons, and a central control box simplifies installation using vehicle-harness sourced signals along with supplied solid-state sending units.
