Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-70C-CAM-K is a fully configurable HDX instrument system designed as a bolt-in replacement for 1970-81 Chevy Camaro models. This black face system combines six analog gauges with stepper motor needle movements and twin TFT digital message centers, bringing modern electronics to the Camaro's classic driver-oriented cockpit layout.
User-settable illumination allows independent color selection for gauge readings, needles, and message center displays, ensuring a perfect match to any interior theme. Calibration and personalization are handled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. A central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid state sending units to their respective terminals.
This system utilizes a stock or reproduction bezel, which is not included.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables, includes 10 ft harness; sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings
Notes
Bezel not included; this system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel. Gear position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor. Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required. The DIM-1 is available as a common accessory for on-the-fly rotary brightness control.
