Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-79C-PU-X is a direct-fit RTX Instrument System designed for 1979-87 Chevy and GMC pickups, as well as 1979-91 Chevy Blazer, GMC Jimmy and Suburban models. This system pays tribute to the original square-body gauge design while adding modern late-model electronics and display technology. It is a bolt-in solution that installs into your stock or aftermarket front bezel (bezel not included).
Each system features CNC-machined housings filled with in-house designed and built electronics, including twin high-definition TFT message centers that mimic the look of a vintage tumbler odometer while offering expanded, fully configurable digital readouts. Factory turn signal indicators are converted to modern LED lighting, and the OEM gear indicator can be retained or displayed digitally with the addition of an optional GSS-3000 sensor.
Full LED/RGB backlighting allows independent control of needle color, sweep color and digital display color, with over 30 user-selectable color options and 12 factory preset themes. A central control box simplifies installation and setup, and the system can be configured via the included pushbutton switch or the free Dakota Digital mobile app for Android and Apple devices.

Notes
- Front bezel is not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction-style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
