Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-87F-MUS-S is a complete HDX instrument system engineered for the 1987-89 Ford Mustang, featuring a silver alloy gauge-face finish that installs directly into the stock cluster and housing. The system combines six analog instruments with a large, full-color TFT message center that can be fully customized to the driver's preference.
Each HDX system allows independent selection of illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with over 30 LED backlighting color options available. Calibration and personal settings are managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel, which is not included. Installation is simplified by a central control box that sources signals from the vehicle harness and connects to supplied, solid-state sending units.
