Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-94C-CAP-S is a direct-fit HDX gauge system engineered for 1994-96 Chevy Caprice and Impala SS models, from retired police cars to the sinister Impala SS and every trim level in between. This system drops right into the stock dash and delivers a wealth of information not available with the factory instrumentation, featuring a silver alloy gauge-face styling.
Each HDX system allows the user to independently select illumination colors for the gauge readings, needles, and message centers. Calibration and personal settings are managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons, and all HDX systems feature dead-faced indicators along with a red, settable warning light for each gauge.
A central control box simplifies installation, using vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; the bezel itself is not included.
